  2. While pregnant, you must eat at least two servings of iron-rich foods, such as meats, spinach, beans, and breakfast cereals each day to ensure you are getting 27 mg of iron daily.
  3. The food you should eat during pregnancy, you should decide on at least one good source of vitamin c each day, such as oranges, grapefruits, strawberries, honeydew, papaya, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, green peppers, tomatoes, and mustard greens. 
  4. While pregnancy, you should choose one source of vitamin A every other day. Main Sources of vitamin A include carrots, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, spinach, water squash, turnip greens, beet greens, apricots, and cantaloupe.

  •  Uncooked (raw) milk and foods made from it, such as feta, Brie, Camembert, blue-veined cheeses. Pasteurization (cooked) involves heating a product to a high temperature to kill harmful bacteria. 
  • Hot dogs, cold cuts unless heated to steaming hot before eating to kill any bacteria. 
  •  Raw sprouts may be infected with bacteria. Only eat them when cooked.
  • Fruits and vegetables may be infected with harmful bacteria, including Toxoplasma. It’s significant to thoroughly wash all fruits and vegetables with plenty of clean water.
  • During pregnancy, you should skip high-mercury fish including shark, swordfish, tuna, and marlin.
